On April 9, 2013, Judith Ann Avara (nee Tomas), beloved wife of the late Joseph Avara. Devoted mother to her daughters Karene DeVenny Schaffer and husband Frank and Susan DeVenny Oxendine and husband Ricky, Cherished grandmother of Nicholas III, Tiffany, Dea, Lindsey, and Casey, great grandmother of Nicholas IV, Georgeanna, Mason, Shen, Jonathan and Gabriel and great-great grandmother of Nicholas V and Rocco; Dear sister to Louise Kalb. Family will receive friends at CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME OF DUNDALK, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Sunday 3-5 & 7-9 PM, with a Christian wake service at 4:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 600 S. Conkling Street, Baltimore, MD. 21224. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
