Norma L. Bertoni

Longtime Stanbrook resident Norma Leola Bertoni (Memaw) went to be with God on December 21, at the age of 84. Born to the late Mamie and Charles Davis in Highlandtown on Lehigh street. She married Gino Bertoni in 1952, Together they lived in Stanbrook for 60 years until moving in to a single level home in Dundalk that she enjoyed the comforts of. She wished to stay in her new home till she passed so with the support of family, friends and GilChrist home care her wishes were granted. Norma loved people and always had the highest standards in life. She never judged anyone and stood for morales and principles. She always made the best of a bad situation, seeing the positive. She was a devoted wife for 61 years, wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, she loved her nieces & nephews. She is survived by her husband Gino J Bertoni, her Son Gene C Bertoni and wife Donna, grandson Gene A Bertoni and wife Jennifer, great granddaughter due March 2014 Isabella Leola Bertoni and great granddaughter Jenna Bertoni & her Mom Beth Haslup. Grandson Joe Conway V and wife Lindsey and great grand children Joe Conway VI and Sophia Conway Daughter Darlene Martin and husband Tom, grand daughter Aubrey Martin. The family will receive friends at the family owned CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME OF DUNDALK , 7110 Sollers Point Road on Monday 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Oaklawn Cemetery.
