MARKWORDT, CARMELA MARY On Saturday, January 11, 2014, Carmela Mary Markwordt (nee Tiburzi), age 85 of Eastwood, passed away peacefully. She was the devoted wife of the late Henry C. Markwordt, Sr.; devoted and loving mother and grandmother of daughter Linda Markwordt (predeceased); son Henry C. Markwordt, Jr. and wife Ruth, grandchildren Dominic and Esther; son David Markwordt (predeceased) and wife Judy, grandchildren Josh and wife Shannon with great-grandchildren Noah and Adam, grandchildren Leah and Jack Henry; daughter Teresa Danley and husband Douglas, grandchildren Stephen, Kristen and John; son Joseph Markwordt and wife Pam, grandchildren Jenna, Alayna, Jack and Luke; son Kevin Markwordt and wife Holly, grandchildren Nicholas, Michael and Mary. She is survived by her brothers Jimmy, Henry and Frank “Toots” Tiburzi and predeceased by brothers Angelo, Mike, John, Joe, and Dominic Tiburzi and predeceased by sisters Angela Jaffa, Lena Sheldon and Yolanda Bevan as well as survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Friday, January 17 from 3-5 and 7-9p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 18 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church at 6420 East Pratt Street. Interment at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
