John Glykiadis

On February 6, 2014, John Glykiadis; beloved husband to Despina Glykiadis his wife of 54 years; Devoted father to Konstantinos Glykiadis; John is survived by 5 sisters and predeceased by one sister. John, the only son of seven children born on August 15, 1928, on the island of Samos in Greece. He worked hard in the United States and made an excellent name for himself, his family and his business community. A good Christian man that served his church tirelessly as a Parishoner and member of the Board at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, John was an avid boatsman and loved to take people on his boat. Relatives and Friends may call at the family owned and operated CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME OF DUNDALK,P.A. 71110 Sollers Point Road on Sunday from 2-7 pm. A funeral service to celebrate John’s life will be held on Monday @ 11:30 am @ St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 520 S. Ponca Street, in Baltimore, MD. 21224.
