On Friday, February 21,2014, in Dundalk,MD, loving husband, devoted father, a master ironworker, expert marksman, golfer, hunter, and woodcrafter passed on to eternal life. Beloved husband for 60 years to Florence “Jackie” M. Colosino (deceased) and father of the late baby Robert Colosino. Eternal brother of the Minnie Travers (Rollie), Carmellia Mosher, Fred Colosino (Betty), Dan Colosino (Regina), Joanna Williams (Hank), Virginia Wright (Fred), Mike Colosino (Alfretta) and Felix Colosino (Bonnie). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Louis Colosino was born in Monongah, West Virginia, on August 20, 1926, to Felix and Constance Colosino. He graduated from Monongah High School in 1945 and enlisted in the U. S. Army. He served in the Pacific during World War II. In 1951, he relocated to Baltimore, MD, to work at Bethlehem Steel, and retired from there in 1984. In retirement and until his passing, he enjoyed many years helping others, hunting, golfing and crafting wood and metal. Many thanks to his devoted friends and co-workers whom he established lifelong relationships; especially, Dennis and Michell McComas, Myrna Sroka, Joseph Haller, Rose, Rex Fulghum, Ed Copeman. We appreciate the assistance he received at FutureCare. Family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Monday 5-8 PM. Funeral services for Louis will be held on Tuesday 10AM at the funeral home. Interment Garrison Forest V.A. Cemetery.
