James Bradley Geaslen, 88, died on March 23, 2014, at his Dundalk home of 50 years.
Born and raised in Bayonne, NJ, Jim moved to Baltimore and graduated from Patterson High School in 1944, He was a proud veteran who served in the Army 78th Lightning Division in WWII. In 1950 he joined the Baltimore City Police Department as a patrolman, and ultimately became employed as a Security Specialist for the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company until his retirement.
He is predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Catherine (nee Newberger) who passed in November, 2005, son Bradley James Geaslen who passed away in March of 2007, and daughter Patricia Kathryn Singh, who passed away in March of 2009. He is survived by his longtime caregivers, daughter Kathleen Davenport and her husband Conway (Pete), and grandson Erik Geaslen and his companion Danyeil Shiloh and good friend Ricky A. Riddle Sr.
He is also survived by his sister Helen Dobry of Towson, grandson Harjit S. Dhaliwal, his wife Judy, and great-grandchildren James and Patrick, daughter-in-law Carol Geaslen, grandson Michael B. Geaslen, his wife Samantha, and great-granddaughter Rozlynn, and granddaughter Sara Bulles, her husband Rick and great-grandson , David.
A viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road on Thursday, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm with a service at 8 pm. Online condolences may be made at www.connellyfuneralhomeofdundalk.com
