Myrl Rader Jr.

Longtime resident of Dundalk and World War II veteran died - April 4th . He was 89 years old. Son of the late  Myrl sr. and Della Mae Rader. After high school he served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 - 1945 and then went to work at Bethlehem Steel where he retired after 38 yrs. He was a very active member of the Assembly of God Church and volunteered at Bayview Hospital for 13 yrs.Survivors include  his wife Juanita  and his children Linda Theofanou, Faye Price, Gayle Shaney, Sam Akers, Keith Akers, Stan Akers and Mike Akers, 10 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great GranddaughterFormer wife June, Brother James along with his son Ronnie and Bud Akers. Preceded him in death.Family will receive friends on Monday 3-5 & 7-9. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday 11 am.
