On November 18th, 2014, Costantino (Que) Mark Scarpulla, beloved father, grandfather and friend died comfortably at his home. Que was born June 20, 1924 in Baltimore City, MD and moved to Dundalk, MD where he lived his remaining life. On December 7, 1958 he married his beloved wife Jean, who precedes him in death and was blessed with three children; Karen, Nick and Carmen. In addition to being a wonderful father he held several positions during his 39 year career with General Motors as well as serving proudly during World War II as a member of the U.S. Navy.
Que experienced the joy of becoming a grandfather to Brianna and Madison Scarpulla. Que was an energetic, kind, witty and a strong man who placed his family before all things; he enjoyed working, re-purposing everything, and was an avid baseball & football fan. In addition to his children and grandchildren, Que is survived by family members Nicole Vernatter, Dawn Scarpulla (Jones), Michael Morris and John McCullough. His parents, Josephine (nee Veneziano) and Angelo Scarpulla as well as five brothers and one sister, all precede him in death. Que leaves his family and friends with much love, compassion, and the strength to pursue continued happiness.
Viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home, on Sollers Point Road in Dundalk, MD. on Sunday 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Que's life will be on Monday morning at 11:00am A brief grave side service and burial will be hosted at the Garden of Faith Cemetery.
