Longtime Dundalk resident, James R. Geyer passed away January 2, 2015 at Franklin Square hospital after a brief illness. Born in York, PA on August 19, 1942. Son of the late John W. Geyer of Baltimore, MD and Susan M. Geyer of Cape Canaveral, FL. He served on the vestry of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Baltimore, MD. Jim was a veteran of the Viet Nam War having served honorably in the United States Army. He was a member of the Dundalk, MD Optimists Club. Jim was retired from Fisher Body. He was a frequent patron of Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds where he would spend time shooting the bull with his many friends
He is survived by his loving mother Susan Geyer Herschberger, Aunt Roberta Throne of York, PA, sister Ann Geyer Stevens of Cape Canaveral, FL, and nephews Craig Stevens of Cape Canaveral, FL, Mark Stevens of Richmond, VA and Glenn Stevens of Silver Spring, MD
A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 31, 2015 at 12noon at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk located at 7110 Sollers Point Rd. Dundalk, Maryland 21222. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a date yet to be determined.
