Doris Susan Stokes

On June 9, 2015 Doris Susan beloved wife of John W. Stokes Sr. Devoted mother of Dorothy Durst, Marilyn Georgieff, Carolyn Silveira, Deborah Hill and the late John Stokes Jr. and Robert Stokes Sr. Loving sister of Loy Gochenour and the late Eddie Gochenour. Doris is also a grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the family owned and operated CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME OF DUNDALK, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Doris’s life will be held Friday evening at 7pm. Interment will be held on Saturday 12noon at Valley Pike Cemetery, 83 Headley Rd. Maurertown, VA 22644 .
