Helen Jacobs

Services for Helen Shkor Jacobs will be held Monday, Oct. 12, at 11am at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road. She died Sept. 22 of natural causes at her home of 59 years on Sparrows Point Boulevard at the age of 89. Born in Edgemere, the mother and homemaker worked at Bethlehem Steel and at Jacobs Service Station. Children John J. Jacobs and Joyce A. Mason, sister Sophie Shkor Wills and two grandchildren survive her. Husband James I. Jacobs , parents John and Anna Shkor, brothers Edward, Alex, John, William and Nicholas Shkor and sister Marie Shkor Cesta preceded her in death. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 825 Hammonds Ferry Road, Suite H, Linthicum, MD 21090.
