Helen Frances “Aunt Helen” Collier, 92, of Calabash, NC, formerly of Dundalk, MD died on February 22, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 24, 1924, in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Alexander and Sarah Martell Anderson. She retired from Western-Electric after many years of service. Mrs. Collier was a member of the St. Rita Catholic Church, Dundalk, and was preceded in death by her husband, Loid Collier; three brothers, Louis Anderson, Harry Anderson, Ernest Anderson, and three sisters, Ella Bush, Agnes Schmitt, & Helen Anderson; two sisters-in-law, Elenanora Anderson & Gloria Anderson. Surviving are her special nieces, Pat Sauer, and husband, George, of Calabash, NC, Darlene Koehler, and husband, Larry Dorbert, of Calabash, NC, and Linda Keller, and husband, Rich, of Seaford, DE; and many loving nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, February 26th in the St. Rita Catholic Church to celebrate Aunt Helen’s life. Burial will follow in the Oak Lawn Cemetery, Baltimore. Family will receive friends from 3-9 pm on Thursday, February 25th at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk.
