George W. Rothermel

On May 7, 2016, George W. Rothermel, beloved husband to the late Norma Rothermel (nee Oliver); devoted father of Patricia Sullivan and her husband Jim and Kathy Baughman and her late husband Michael; loving grandfather to Jill Benicewicz and her husband Matt, Jim Sullivan Jr. and his wife Bobbi, Julie Shetter and her husband Rich, Victor Esguerra and his fiancé Sandie, and Lisa Esguerra; caring great-grandfather to Shelbi, Debbie, Tori, Mason, and Imarah; great-great-grandfather to Erika. The family will receive friends at the CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME of DUNDALK, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service to celebrate George’s life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 am. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association – Greater Maryland Chapter (1850 York Rd, Timonium, MD 21093) in memory of his wife Norma, or the  MDSPCA (3300 Falls Rd, Baltimore, MD 21211) in memory of George.
