Carol Ann Blaker

Carol A. Blaker (Painter), 77 of Baltimore, MD., passed away suddenly on June 13, 2016 @ 10:30am. She was born on July 23, 1938 in Clifton Forge, VA, the daughter of Ivan Painter and Elsie (Clark-Painter) Goodwin. She married the love of her life, Eugene R. Blaker on November 9, 1957 in Baltimore, MD. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Blaker, 3 children, Sherry A Raut-Russell and husband Donald, Eugenia C. McDowell and husband Warner, Timothy R. Blaker and wife Marsha, grandsons, Justin C. Raut, Jeremy R. Raut, great-granddaughter and great-grandson Zoey L. Raut, Tyler Z., Pop-Stidham. Also surviving are sisters Doris Nicely and Charlotte Rose, and brother Daniel Goodwin, nieces, nephews and wonderful neighbors Catherine & Doug Boots. She is proceeded in death by her parents. Carol enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, her church, North Point Baptist church of which she was a member, and spending time with her family. Carol worked until 2000 at which time she became caregiver for her husband. Carol was selfless and caring and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
