James D. Morganthall III

On October 30, 2016 James D. Morganthall III devoted father of Lilly Ann Morganthall. Fiancee Michelle Brooks. Parents Jeannine (nee Coyne) and late James D. Morganthall Jr. Sister Dr. Jessica McGallicher and her husband Jason. Nephew Jayden Lucas McGallicher. Grandmother Bernadine Coyne. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. James went by many names; Jim, Jimmy, JD, Little Jimmy, son, fiancé, brother, and friend. But by far his favorite was Daddy. James was the proud father of a beautiful 4 year old girl Lilly. She was the light of his life. His second favorite was Uncle. He was an amazing Uncle to his 5 year old Nephew Jayden. Jayden’s face lit up with joy every time his uncle walked into the room. James was a skilled journeyman electrician that excelled in his field. Throughout his life, he enjoyed spending as much time as possible fishing, crabbing, and hunting at his family’s property in Cambridge, MD with his father, mother, cousin David, sister, fiancée, daughter, and numerous other family members and friends. James leaves behind a large group of family and friends. He touched so many lives during his short time here on earth. His passing has created a huge hole in everyone’s hearts. He will be dearly missed. The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Wednesday from 3-8pm. A funeral service for James will be held on Thursday 10:30 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery.
