Marylou Mansfield (Harris) 80 years of age passed away on Friday February 24, 2017 at Senator Bob Hooper House.
Marylou was born December 14, 1936 in Irvington Virginia, daughter of the late Mary Ritcher (Harris) and Carroll Harris. Marylou was the middle child of 3 (Betty Ann Anna oldest, Marylou and Linda Swedo youngest).
Marylou was married to the late Clarence Mansfield in 1956 and six children were born from this union.
Marylou retired from United Stationers in 2002 after 40 plus years of service as a Customer Service Supervisor at the companies Hanover Distribution Center. After retirement Marylou became a very active member of the Ateaze Senior Center in Dundalk. Where she volunteered for more than 15 years in multiple areas and held many positions. As a result of her many hours of volunteering, infectious personality and outgoing spirt she will be dearly missed.
Marylou enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted mother, grandmother and friend, always thinking of others first. “To know her was to love her”
Her beautiful life and spirit will be forever cherished in the lives of her children, Robert Mansfield, Doreen Dennis, Melanie Mansfield, Shelia Ortman, Tracey Gray and William Mansfield, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family will receive friends at the CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME of DUNDALK 7110 Sollers Point Road on Wednesday 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM from the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Holly Hill Memorial Garden Cemetery.
