Nancy Ekholm

Nancy S. Ekholm, 75, Beloved Wife of the late Gunnar J. Ekholm, devoted mother of Lori Whitelaw and husband William Whitelaw, Marnie Lau and late Daughter Susan Ekholm and her surviving partner Mary Stumpf. Loving grandmother of Jocelyn Reich and husband Gregory Reich, Samantha Whitelaw, Kramer Whitelaw, Natalie Lau & Jodie Lau. Great grandmother to Nola Reich & Gunnar Reich. She was also survived by her Cousin & Dear Friend Sharon Naunton. Dear Sister of Marion Sparzak, Franklin Hickman, Charles Scott Hickman, Cynthia Hamm and the late George Pugh & Anthony Hickman. Nancy was loved and cared about by many, including the 36 years she dedicated to the students of Southeast Baltimore County. She wasn’t an ordinary grandmother, She was a devotedly loyal “Mommom” and provided constant love and care for all 5 of her Grandchildren. She enjoyed playing and spending time with her oldest Great grandchild Nola,and beamed with joy from how much she was adored by her Great Grandson Gunnar. A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life on March 6, 2017 @ 3 PM at the North Point Yacht Club. 1700 Wharf Road Sparrows Point, MD 21219. Friends and Family are welcome to join together to celebrate the life of Nancy Ekholm. Private burial services will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery.
