Andrea L. Poteat

Andrea Lynn Poteat, born Andrea Wild on September 19, 1955 was the daughter of Gloria B. Wild, the late Robert B. Wild and older sister to Michael J. Wild departed this Earthly existence on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at age 67.  

She was survived by her two children: Gary M. Halstead and Lisa A. Burkindine, and four grandchildren: Jonathan C. Halstead, Eric R. Halstead, Carley M. Burkindine and Elijah J. Klein, as well as a large network of extended family and close friends.

A graduate of Sparrows Point High School and a lifelong resident of the Eastern Baltimore County area; She was most recently employed as a Bookkeeper at F.C. Clifford Inc.

Family was everything to “Annie” and she, along with her late husband Wade D. Poteat will be missed by a great number of friends, not only for her loving, unwavering support , but also for her beautiful smile, wonderful personality and ability to hold us all together. She is the sun for which we all orbit.

A memorial will take place at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 121 Bennett Rd. Essex, MD 21221 on Tuesday, December 20th from 4pm to 8pm, with the service starting at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Saint Judes Research Hospital in her name.
