Ann Marie Chaney

Ann Chaney passed away peacefully at home from complications due to lung cancer on February 11, 2021 at the age of 83.

Survived by her daughters Linda and Diane, sons-in-law Joe and Melvin, granddaughters Melinda, Bonnie and Carly, sisters Dolores, Carolyn and Margie, and her many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved and touched deeply. Predeceased by her son Brian.

Ann was a loving and caring Mother and grandmother, a devoted sister and aunt, a kind and generous friend and neighbor. She loved to read, discuss politics and current events, talk to her sisters frequently and spend time with her granddaughters and grand-dogs. She enjoyed going to the senior center, crab feasts and bus trips, and having lunch with her sisters. Her life was a living example of kindness, compassion and friendship. She will be sorely missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to American Lung Association at www.lung.org to help support research into the causes of lung cancer.

Please join us celebrating her life Monday February 15th, 2021 between 12pm-3pm and 5pm-7pm, with a service at 7pm at Connelly’s funeral home of Dundalk. 

Interment will be at a later date.
