It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony Charles Oxendine, 76, of Dundalk, Maryland. He passed in the early morning hours of Saturday, February 19, 2022 of heart failure.
Tony was born in Oxford, England on December 10th 1945 to Charlie and Joan Oxendine at the end of World War II. He was retired after 30 years of dedicated service to the Northrop Grumman Corporation as a maintenance technician.
Tony was predeceased by his daughter Sharron Ewing and his sister Gayner Oxendine. He is survived by his brother William Oxendine, his grandchildren, David Roby, Sharron Weber, Cecilia Ewing. His great grandchildren, Riley and Tesla Weber, his nephew Christopher Pleasant, and his niece Lisa Pleasant.
Tony or “Cochise” as he was known by family and old friends was a kind, gentle hearted soul who always cared for others and always gave a helping hand whenever needed.
There will be a small graveside service at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224, on Saturday February 26 at 11:00 AM.
