Asa McDowell

On March 19, 2018, Asa McDowell, a long time Dundalk resident who retired from the Bethlehem Steel Mill where he worked as an Electrician. He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce and a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting & fishing and a member of the Baltimore County Game & Fish Protective Association. He also enjoyed attending Bluegrass festivals and was an Orioles baseball fan. Surviving are his children; Daughter Pamela Genco and her Husband Vincent Genco, Sons Warren and Roland McDowell and Grandchildren Vincent Genco and Sophia McDowell. The family will receive friends at the family owned and operated CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME OF DUNDALK, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Saturday from 1 to 2 PM. A memorial service with Military Honors will follow at 2:00 PM from the funeral home. Pastor David Erickson will officiate.
