Brona Lipinski

Brona Marie Lipinski passed on October 10th, 2021, peacefully in the home that she shared with her late husband Milton Dominic Lipinski. She was surrounded by her family that she loved so dearly. Preceded in death by her mother Mildred L. Allen and her father Allie A. Paschal. She is survived by her sister Darlene Moore and her two brothers Gerald D. Allen and Richard Gwynallen. She is also survived by her four children Robert P. Lipinski, Karen P. Kolb, Kevin J. Lipinski, and Katherine E. Bronakoski as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Brona was born in Reidsville, NC and then traveled and lived in many places including Japan as a military daughter. Brona finally settled in Baltimore, Maryland and began her career as a bank teller, in that time she met the love of her life. She became a homemaker and raised four children and helped raise many grandchildren over the years. Brona will be remembered for her love of penguins, flamingos, many other birds and squirrels whom she enjoyed feeding at the park and on her porch. She will also be remembered for her love of light houses, mocha frappes, Japanese cherry blossom body spray, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Baltimore Orioles. Brona was a faithful contributor to many charities including Saint Jude and ASPCA. Her family will think of her “Mom-Mom-isms” fondly with a laugh. Some of her famous phrases being “How about them apples?”, “I swooney” and “What in carnation?!”. Yes, carnation! Not to be confused with tarnation. Most of all she will be remembered for her unwavering love of family. To the very end when asked what was most important to her, her reply was “Taking care of my family”.

Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be at Friday 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
