Carolyn Privitera

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carolyn Mary Privitera, who departed this life peacefully on February 4, 2025. Carolyn was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother.

Carolyn was married to her beloved husband, Joseph Privitera, for 51 years. Together, they built a beautiful family and celebrated the joys of life. She is survived by her loving daughters, Angela Privitera Wetzel and her husband, Eric Wetzel, and Alyson Privitera and her husband, Gary McFaline. Carolyn's spirit will live on in the hearts of her cherished grandchildren, Reed Wetzel, Fiona Wetzel, and Pia McFaline-Privitera, who brought her immeasurable joy and laughter.

A passionate soul, Carolyn enjoyed crocheting and traveling, finding happiness in exploring national parks and the beauty of nature. Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she always sought to create lasting memories filled with love and laughter.

A Memorial Gathering will take place at the the Church of the Annunciation, 5212 McCormick Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21206, on Saturday March 1, 2025 starting at 9:30 AM, providing an opportunity for friends and loved ones to come together, share memories, and celebrate her legacy.

Mass will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by lunch.
