Catherine Dolores Rachuba

Catherine Dolores Rachuba passed on December 23, 2024, a week before her 101st birthday. Born on December 30, 1923, in Maryland, Dolores was the beloved wife of the late John Rachuba and the cherished daughter of the late William and Teresa Meyers. Dolores was a devoted mother and beloved grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Dolores dedicated her life to her family as a loving homemaker, finding joy and purpose in nurturing her loved ones. She is survived by her daughters, Darlene Kummet and her husband Wayne, and Linda Bain and her husband Charles. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren: Chuck and Zachary Bain, Sarah Warble, Christina Martin, Daniel Kummet, and the late John Sachs. Additionally, Dolores leaves behind eight great-grandchildren: Bryson, Kayden, Tommy, Joshua, Ava, Jacob, Oliver, and Wesley, who will carry forward her spirit.

Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Dolores' life. A public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. On Monday, December 30, 2024, a Mass will be held in her honor at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6736 Youngstown Avenue, beginning at 11:00 AM. Following the Mass, a graveside service will take place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 6515 Boston Street.

Dolores' life was a testament to love, resilience, and the importance of family. She will be deeply missed but always remembered with love and gratitude by her family and friends.
