Catherine "Kay" Weidow

Catherine "Kay" Weidow passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on April 10, 2024. Born on September 15, 1936, in Pennsylvania, Catherine was a devoted wife, loving mother, and nurturing caregiver to all who knew her.

Kay was the beloved wife of Kenneth Russell Weidow for 60 years, a loss that she felt deeply each day since his passing five years ago. She was a cherished mother of Kenneth M. Weidow, Karen Connelly and her husband Colt, Catherine (Kay Ann) Swayne and her husband Bill. She was also a doting grandmother to Jennifer Hoyt, Andrew Connelly (Samantha), Sarah Pilkerton (Tony), Lindsey Weidow (Danny), Courtney Swayne, Shane Connelly (Jenna), Rick Hoyt, and Chris Drewer. Her legacy also lives on through her great-grandchildren Teagan, Ian, Lainey, Kameron, Grayson, Hunter, Tucker, Savannah, Faith, and Jacob. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and predeceased by her siblings, Gerald Stinson and Jane Plewacki.

Having dedicated herself to a career as a Registered Nurse and Teacher, Kay touched numerous lives through her work. Her passion and commitment to nursing and educating were evident in all aspects of her life. Kay's nurturing nature extended beyond her profession; she was known for catering to the needs of her family, ensuring their well-being and happiness at all times. Throughout her life, she found joy in caring for her family, always putting their needs above her own. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Join us in celebrating Catherine "Kay" Weidow's life at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 2:00-6:00 PM. A Funeral Service will begin at 5:30 PM.
