Charles "Chuck" Walter Smiddy Jr.

 

On March 1, 2020, Charles "Chuck" Walter Smiddy Jr., passed away. He was born on July 27, 1966 in Wilmington, OH. Chuck is survived by his wife Gail Smiddy, his children Timothy, Elizabeth, Isabella and Grandchildren Sophia and Kambri.  Mother Ann Smiddy, Sister Dee Evans and her husband Doug, George Haire.  Nieces and Nephews, Mandy Shively, Megan Sengebusch and her husband Nate, and Billy Sengebusch and his wife Melody.  Chuck is predeceased by his father Walter Smiddy Sr, Son Charlie III and Daughter Sarah. 

 

Chuck's family moved to MD in 1967 from Ohio.  He worked for the State of Maryland as a Diesel and Automotive Mechanic until accepting the Supervisor position at JFK1 & FSK locations for the past 20 years. Chuck enjoyed classic car shows and enjoyed showing off his 1972 Dodge Dart. He was a part of the Lazy 8's Cruisers. Chuck never missed an opportunity to fire up his grill for family and friends. He enjoyed music and attending concerts.

 

Visitation with the family will be at the CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME OF DUNDALK, 7110 Sollers Point Road on Thursday from 4 PM to 8 PM and Friday from 10 AM- 11 AM.  A service to celebrate Chuck's life will be held on Friday at 11 AM at the funeral home.
