Chris McCullum was a loving husband to Christine McCullum. They were together since their teenage years. They spent 46 years together. They loved each other through ups and downs, trials and tribulations, and anything that came their way. They were the backbones of our family. From their union came six children: Wayne Sherrod, Terri Cooper-Bey, David Brooks (his fiancé Kelly Cave), Cory McCullum (his fiancé Debra Lowery), Justin McCullum, and Shashea Moore and son in law Quantay Moore as well as his daughter in law Stacy Mcie and son in law Carl Mcie, with twenty grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two brothers Robert Stokes, Francis Stokes (his fiancé Raven Barnes), and one sister Maria Stokes, a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also predeceased by his mother Mamie Stokes, his brother Herman Stokes, his sister Lisa Stokes, his nephew Theodore Helm and son in law Anthony Cooper-Bey. Chris was educated in the BCPS system. His hands-on knowledge allowed him to have various jobs from an electrician to building and maintenance. Chris was known for his corny jokes and never failing to make someone laugh. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and an overall provider for his family. He was loved by everyone and will truly be missed dearly.
Family and friends are invited to honor Chris' life during a public viewing at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Saturday December 21, 2024, from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM with a funeral service beginning at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Baltimore Humane Society.
