Constance "Connie" Williams

Constance (Connie) Marie Williams passed away in her sleep on February 13th at the age of 90. She is survived by her sons Lou (Debbie) and Ken (Nancy), her sister Carolyn Nueslein, six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Connie Louise, her husband Louis, and sister Janet Fisher.

Connie was born at home in 1934 on the 100 block of South Patterson Park Avenue. In that home she raised her three children and continued to live until the death of her husband in 2013. She was a graduate of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary grade school and The Catholic High School of Baltimore. After high school, while raising her family, she worked in various retail jobs. She then worked as the administrative assistant to the president of L. A. Benson & Co. After the death of her daughter Connie in 1987, she was uplifted by the role developing and opening the internal medicine/primary care practice with her son, Dr. Ken Williams in Highlandtown. She remained in that position until her retirement at the age of 82. Her dedication to the healthcare of the community was instrumental in the success of the medical practice which continues to this day.

Connie loved her family almost as much as they loved her. She was an avid reader and loved travelling with her sister Carolyn, where they would frequently get lost. She had a wicked sense of humor and her grandchildren swear by her crab soup and spaghetti sauce with pigs feet.

The family invites friends to a Memorial Gathering at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Friday, February 28th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. A prayer vigil will take place at 6:30pm. Interment will be held privately on Saturday morning. A celebration of life will continue between 1pm and 5pm on Saturday March 1st at her son Ken's home on South Montford Avenue. As all who knew Connie will remember she never met a sweet she didn't like and therefore we will serve many of her favorites.
