David Scurto Jr.

On Monday, July 6th, 2020, David Russell Scurto, Jr., loving son, brother and father of
four children, passed away at age 55.
David was born October 11, 1964 to David and Loraine (Hyatt) Scurto. He attended
Dundalk High School, served in the Army, and wore many occupational hats before
honing-in on his craft as a carpenter. He enjoyed classic rock music, dancing,
cooking, watching movies, reading, watching jeopardy, playing board games with
family; he loved watching football and was a proud Ravens fan. He was known to
be the perfect dance partner and owned the dance floor, he had infectious smile, a
signature chuckle, was bright and had a compassionate spirit.
David was preceded in death by his father, David Russell Scurto, Sr. and his
stepdaughter Ashley McCready. He is survived by his mother G. Loraine Briggs, his
four children, David III, Dakota, Dallas and Cierra, his wife Billie Jo (Walston), his
step-sons Brookes McCready and Christopher Benjamin, his brother Dwayne Scurto
and sisters Drena Scurto-Diven and Angela (Scurto) Balog, several cousins, nieces,
nephews and dear friends. Viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of
Dundalk on Friday, July 10th from 10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at which time a funeral
service will begin. Immediately following the service, the family will travel to Sacred
Heart of Jesus cemetery for internment.
