Dorothy Marie McCoy (nee Swatski), a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025, at the age of 93, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 19, 1931, in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania, she was the cherished daughter of the late John and Mary Swatski.

Dorothy was married to her late husband, Peter John McCoy Sr., and together they shared a beautiful life filled with love and adventure. Dorothy was a devoted mother to her children, Peter John McCoy Jr., Jane Davella (nee McCoy) and her husband Benjamin Davella Jr., Dorothy Marie Hall (nee McCoy) and her boyfriend Keith Davis, and the late David Peter McCoy. She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to Christina Marie Turner (nee Hall), Sandra Lee Reina (nee Hall), Melissa Ann Keim (Hall), Benjamin Francis Davella III, Kirsten Marie Davella, and Dominic Anthony Davella.
