On February 4th 2022 Edward Wilson Crizer Sr. was called home from Season’s Hospice. He was predeceased by the love of his life Lucille C. Crizer (Hess). They had 5 children Deborah Butcher married to Micheal Butcher, Pauline Barron married to William Barron, Patricia Wilson married to James Wilson, Edward Crizer Jr. married to Jennifer Crizer and Kenneth Crizer married to Keehna Crizer.
Eddie was born in White Sulphur Springs WV to Francis and Audrey Crizer His siblings and their spouses who he loved dearly are Leonard and Irma, Charles and Phyllis, Vella and Frank, Barry and Wendy, Gary and Eva, Rosalie and Will.
Wilson loved his in-laws like they were his own siblings. He loved Lucille's parents Jim and Ada like they were his parents. He cherished his times with his in-laws and their spouses James and (Luise) Judy, Catherine and Herm, Harry and Lynn, Lorainne and Mick.
He loved all his nieces and nephews, they all have a story about Uncle Ed.
Pop loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and their spouses, Eric, Stacey, Ron, Samara, Dana, John, Peyton, Trenton, James, Carol, Ryla, Anthony, Melissa, Christian, Aaron, Edward III, Brent, Olivia. He was known to them simply as Pop. He was also known as Pop to his many “adopted” grandkids. He loved children and being their Pop if they needed one.
He was loved by many and will be missed deeply. He was a good listener and always willing to help where he could. He was the patriarch of his family and his family was everything in the world to him. He had many friends who he loved socializing with. Ed also enjoyed the company of his neighbors. He was kind to animals and spoiled many. He told everyone he had a great life!
Big Ed as he was known at the mill was a proud member of the United Steelworkers of America and worked as a welder for 41 years at Bethlehem Steel in Sparrows Point. He also worked at the Royal Lumber Yard in Glen Burnie.
He built a 2nd home in Slanesville, WV and had many friends there that he held dear to his heart.
The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Tuesday from 4-8pm. A funeral service for Eddie will be held on Wednesday 10am at the funeral home. Internment to follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
