Ellis Martin Brown

Ellis Martin Brown passed away peacefully on November 24, 2017. Ellis was born in Dickson, Tennessee on November 2, 1921 to the late Urcy and Ethel Brown.  He resided in the Dundalk area in the same house for the last 64 years.  He married the late Leona D. Heuer in 1950 and they had four children.  She died in 2014.  Ellis worked for Bethlehem Steel for 36 years before retiring in 1986.  He served in the Army during World War II. Ellis will be truly missed by his daughters Kathy Sariscak and her husband Joe of Severna Park, MD; Debra Kollias and her husband John of Gulfport, FL; and Karen Behringer and her husband Roger of Las Vegas, NV; and a son, Kenneth Brown and his wife Darla of Jacksonville, FL. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Traci Eagles of Olney, MD; Karl Behringer of New Albany, OH; Joseph Behringer of Las Vegas, NV; Lauren Kollias of Gulfport, FL; and Dalton Brown of Jacksonville, FL; two great grandchildren Carter and Cara Eagles, both of Olney, MD; and his nieces and nephews. Ellis will also be missed by his friend (special caregiver) Philomena, friend Rose, and his buddy Bob.  The family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk, MD, on December 6, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM.  A service will be held on December 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, followed by interment at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
