Emery Lee Burch

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emery Lee Burch, 88, who died on February 18, 2024.  Emery was born in Virginia, one of eight children of the late Tallie and Allie Burch.  He will be forever loved and remembered.

Emery was a veteran who served in the United States Air Force.  He had a great love of football and baseball, and, in his younger years, he loved to hunt and fish.  But his greatest love has always been for his family.

In addition to his parents, Emery is predeceased in death by his loving wife, Shirley Burch, his sisters Lorene Wilmer and Rosa Bradley, and his brothers Edward Burch and David Burch.  He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Dickus and Debbie Hurst, his grandchildren Matthew Dickus, Ashley Curtis and Stephanie Dickus, and his great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Allen, Dominic Jones, and Benjamin Montgomery.  He is also survived by sisters Jean Argabright and Rachel Roakes and brother McKinley Burch.

No services will take place, as Emery requested, but we do appreciate your love and support during this difficult time.
