On April 20th, 2020 Emmanuel “Chris” Glavaris passed away suddenly. He is survived by his loving children, son Christopher Glavaris, daughter-in-law Suzane Glavaris, daughter Stephanie Glavaris, his daughter’s fiancé Peter Bassuk, brother Gregory Glavaris, sister Alysa Glavaris, and his many nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Chris was actively involved with the Greek community in Highlandtown. He loved playing basketball, dancing, and cooking for family and friends. As a decorated and well respected Physical Therapist, Chris worked hard to positively influence the many lives of his patients and colleagues. He devoted half of his life to help achieve his dream of building his business at Advanced Care Physical Therapy with his business partner Ted Vlahoyiannis. They established ACPT into an appreciated clinic that helped hundreds of patients over the last 25 years!
As a family man, Chris was always there for his children and friends. He loved his children dearly and always pushed them to achieve their goals. Chris always placed the needs of his family and patients before his own. Chris’ dedication to his family and profession will leave a lasting impression. May his memory be eternal!
Unfortunately, due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, Chris’ family will hold a Celebration of Life dinner in the near future. Details will follow at a later date. The family will welcome any donations made out to the American Heart Association in memory of Emmanuel Glavaris.
