Ethlyn Gregory (nee Groover), 104, died peacefully on January 7, 2018 in Jasper, AL.
Born in Savannah, GA, Ethlyn moved to Dundalk as a newlywed. She was a stay-at home mother and then worked at Four Roses Distillery when her husband became ill. She was an accomplished seamstress, avid gardener, crafter, baker, and loved to crochet and play Scrabble. Blessed with excellent health, a clear mind, and independent spirit, she lived in her Manor Road home until she was 102.
She is survived by beloved sister, Martha Gupton and sons: Jack Gregory, Jr. and wife Peggy, Keith Gregory and wife Susan, as well as grandchildren Lauren Magnuson, grandson-in-law Roger Vanderpool, Wendy Mimaros, Jennifer Gregory, Stephanie Punte and husband Jason, and Lisa Gregory. She leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by husband Jack Gregory, Sr. and granddaughters Nicole Gregory and Shelly Vanderpool.
Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk MD 21222, on Friday from 4-8 PM. A funeral service to celebrate Ethlyn's life will be held Saturday at the funeral home at 10 AM. Interment will follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
