On December 22, 2019, Forrest Dale Bair, Beloved husband of Gerrie Bair; Devoted father of Dianna Wilcox and her late husband Robert Wilcox, Shawn Bair, and Tony Boston, Michael Warren and his wife Amanda, Melissa Lingenfelder and her husband Erich, and the late Michelle Bair; Cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany and her husband Wayne, Grant, Kolton, Breanna, Tyler, Kameron, Gavin, Bradyn as well as 5 great-grandchildren, Loving uncle of Phil Bair. Forrest is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Bair was a lifelong Dundalk resident. He graduated from Sparrows Point high school in 1963. He spent 36 1/2 years working at General Motors Truck and Bus Company before retiring. Bair was a dedicated member to the Trial Club where he made many lifelong friends. Anyone that met him, immediately loved him. He had a joyous energy and was usually the life of the party. Dancing and drinking beer were two of his favorite pastimes. His family spent weekends with him in Deep Creek Lake on his property riding snowmobiles and 4-wheelers while creating memories that will never be forgotten. Once retired, he enjoyed camping with his wife and grandchildren. He was able to spend a few winters as a snowbird with his wife in Florida. Bair will be remembered for the love he gave to his family. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten!
Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk MD 21222, on Friday from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM. A service to celebrate Forrest's life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1601 Taylor Ave, Parkville, MD 21234.
