Geraldine Hockenbrock

Geraldine (Gerry) Catherine Hockenbrock, age 93 passed away peacefully July 24, 2023. She was born on December 15, 1929 in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania to Bertha and Robert Fultz. She married the love of her life, Nelson Hockenbrock on April 5, 1947 who in 1992 preceded her in death.

First and foremost, Gerry was dedicated to her family. She never missed a family event or special occasion where she could show you her unconditional support. She always knew what to say to make you feel special and loved. Gerry loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals for her family. Whether it be just to chat or join her family for dinner, she never hesitated to open the doors of her home to the neighborhood. Other than spending time with her family, Gerry loved to garden and listen to music. Even in her later years she enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table singing while bird and people watching. She was the true matriarch of her family. Gerry will be remembered by her infectious smile, quick wit, and loving heart.

She is the loving and devoted mother of Linda Bafitis (Bill), Bobby Hockenbrock (Joan), Gene Hockenbrock (Mary), Connie Brohawn (Bruce), Cindy Schaub (predeceased - Fred), Dawn Manuel (Ed) and predeceased by Randy Hockenbrock.

Adored Gram of Nick Bafitis (Barb), Keith Schaub (Olga), Randy Hockenbrock (Jeanette), Brian Hockenbrock (Kim), Missy Ragucci, Heather Wlajnitz (Charlie), Mandy Martin (PJ), Mark Schaub, Kim Hockenbrock, Jason Hockenbrock (Krystle), Jacob Hockenbrock, Megan Foehrkolb (Mike), Amber Williams (Morgan), Shaneen Manuel and Sarah Manuel.

Admired Great Grandmother of Meah, Landen, Symone, Dominic, Nora, Kelcie (Robbie), Kiley, Reagan, Miranda, Roman, Oliver, Noah, McKenna, Brandon, Jackson, Morgan, Emily, Ben and Miguel.

The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service for Gerry will be held on Friday 11 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Garrison Forest VA Cemetery.
