Longtime Dundalk resident, Grace D. Cicere passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on May 10, 2017, in Milton, DE after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.  During her final seven years she resided in Ashburn, VA and Milton, DE.  Born in Baltimore on November 16,1929, to Everett and Grace (nee Lease) Hoxter, Gracie was the youngest of eight children.  Due to her parents' untimely deaths, she was raised from age 7 by her older sister, Naomi and her husband Salvatore (Sam) D'Anna in Baltimore and Dundalk, MD.  She was predeceased by sisters Dorothy Kellenberger, Thelma Goodman , Naomi D'Anna and Betty Hein, and brothers Vernon Hoxter, James (Bunky) Hoxter, and George (Sonny) Hoxter. Married at St. Rita's Church on May 7, 1950, she was a devoted wife to the late Alfred A. Cicere for over 53 years until his death in January 2004.  During her lifetime Gracie's main focus was her husband and family and enjoyed entertaining and being with fellow Watersedge neighbors, friends and family as they hosted many lasagna dinners and cookouts for holidays and family occasions.  Gracie was known for her excellent cooking and baking skills, especially her Italian Christmas cookies.  She is survived by her children: Michael and his spouse, Nancy; Alfred, Jr. and his spouse, Nancy; Christopher and his spouse Lisa; and Monica and her spouse William Ludwig. She enjoyed doting on her 12 grandchildren, Dominic Cicere, Andrea Dunn, Patrick Cicere, Kelley Cicere, Nicholas Cicere, Colin Cicere, Andrew Cicere, Faith Cicere, Addison Ludwig, Dane Ludwig, Ainsley Ludwig and Sage Ludwig, and eight great-grandchildren, Katherine, Kellan and Mason Dunn, Calliope Cicere, Christian Clark, Allyanna and Maddilynn Ginevan, and Alfred Ludwig. Also, Aunt Gracie is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, grand-neices and grand-nephews.           Visitation with family will be at the CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME OF DUNDALK, 7110 Sollers Point Road on Wednesday from 3 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM from the funeral home. Gravesite internment will be at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, 11501 Garrison Forest Road, Owings, Mills, MD 21117 on Friday, May 19th.  In lieu of flowers, in tribute to Grace, memorial donations are encouraged to the Michael J.
