Mrs. Harriet Jean Badders (nee Egeberg), long-time resident of Dundalk, Maryland, died unexpectedly on April 4, 2018 due to complications following routine vascular surgery. She was 71 years old. Harriet is survived by her husband, Leon L. Badders, Sr; two sons: Joe T. Richardson & Leon L. Badders, Jr.; daughters-in-law: Kimberly Healey Richardson and Shelly Badders; 5 grandchildren: Joe Richardson, III, Leah & Megan Richardson, and Zachary & Sydney Badders; 2 great-grandchildren Chloe & Owen Richardson; her brothers: Owen Egeberg, Jr. & Chuck Egeberg; and sisters: Jeri Widdowson & Sandy Nutting. Harriet was born on March 24, 1947 in Baltimore, MD to Owen and Vivian Egeberg, Sr. She married Leon Badders, Sr. on June 15, 1973. Harriet was a huge Baltimore Ravens and Orioles fan who loved spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed visits with her extended family from Kingsport, Tennessee. She also loved planting in her garden and coloring with her grandchildren. She was a kind and giving person who was always the life of the party. The family will receive visitors at the CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME OF DUNDALK, 7110 Sollers Point Road on Saturday, April 14th, 2018, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM at the funeral home, Pastor Elaine Crunkilton will officiate.
