Heather Melzer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Heather R. Melzer, who left us on December 18, 2024, at the age of 42. Born on July 8, 1982, in Maryland.

Heather is the loving daughter to Leslie and the late Richard Melzer, who will forever cherish the time they spent with her. Mother to Steven Horsey and longtime friend to Steve Horsey. Dear companion to Dustin Basta and his son Colin Basta.

Heather enjoyed many things in life such as going to the beach and eating steamed crabs.

To honor Heather's memory, a public viewing will take place at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Sunday December 22, 2024 from 12:00-3:00 pm.

We invite everyone who knew Heather to join us in celebrating her life, sharing stories, and remembering the joy she brought to all of us. She will be deeply missed but forever loved.
