Howard Forest Mason

Howard Forest Mason (68) passed from this life into eternity on Saturday, February 15, 2020. with his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Darlene, by his side. He is survived by his adoring sons Ben and his wife Allison, and Josh and his wife Kim; his loving sister Terri Lee and her husband Jim; his seven grandchildren Riley, Jacob, Makenna, Emma, Lilyanne, Alexandra, and Aubrie; his niece Renae and her husband Denny; and numerous adoring brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, friends, and family members. 

Howie fought many long and hard battles with his health for many years, but his health was not what defined him. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and an amazing grandfather. Whenever his grandchildren entered the room his eyes lit up. He loved nothing more than being surrounded by his family. He had a way of making everyone feel like they were an important part of his family. He loved music, especially the Beatles and Frank Sinatra. He loved spending Sundays watching the Ravens with his close group of friends. Most everyone knew him as Howie, but to his family, he was Papa Howie, Poppy, Buzzy, Dad. No matter what he was called though, he was loved, and he will be deeply missed forever.
