James L. Jones

On April 7, 2021, James Ludwell Jones passed away; devoted husband of the late Lois Jones (nee Campbell); loving son of the late William E. Jones and the late Helen Kyte Jones; devoted father to Edna Lambert, Violetta "Cricket" Miller, and Lola Doby, and the dearly departed: Benjamin, Russell, David, Leslie, Shawn, John, and Donald Kyte; dear brother to the late Helen L. Johns, the late William A. Jones, Debbie Anderson and Diane Heathcote and loved one to extended family and friends. 

Mr. Jones was an avid Orioles fan and an inductee in the Maryland Slow Pitch Softball Hall of Fame. He worked at Bethlehem Steel and was a member of St. Clement's Mary Hofbauer Catholic parish. He served communion for many years to patients in local hospitals, enjoyed playing golf at local country clubs, and playing pool at the Rosedale Senior Center.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11 AM at St. Clement Mary Hofbauer Church, 1212 Chesaco Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21237. Interment will be at Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, MD. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to St. Clement Mary Hofbauer Church.
