James Koscielski Sr.

The beloved James Koscielski Sr., a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024, at the age of 91. Born on May 25, 1932, James was a dedicated family man who touched the lives of all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

James was born and raised in Maryland, where he spent his early years and formed lifelong friendships. He found his passion as a crane operator, dedicating himself to the steel industry and leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.

As a proud veteran, James honorably served his country in the Army and was discharged on April 19, 1953. His determination and discipline shown during his military service carried over into his civilian life, serving as an inspiration to his loved ones and all who knew him.

James was preceded in death by his late wife, Patricia Koscielski, with whom he shared many cherished years of marriage. He is survived by his devoted sons, James Koscielski Jr. and Gerard Koscielski and his wife Joel who will forever carry their father's legacy. James was also immensely proud of his grandson, Jay Koscielski, and his wife Ally, who brought him immeasurable joy and happiness. His great-grandchild, Macy, held a special place in his heart.

To honor James Koscielski Sr.'s life, a public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Monday, January 15, 2024, from 3:00- 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with interment following at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
