James T. Riegel Sr.

On November 11, 2017, James T. Riegel Sr. beloved husband to late Mary A. Riegel, Devoted father to Jon Riegel and his wife Mitzi, Laura McElwee and her husband Ronald, Craig M. Riegel Sr. and his wife Jean, and the late James T. Riegel Jr. and his late wife Lonnie; Loving grandfather to 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and was predeceased by granddaughter Courtney L. McElwee. Jim was an active member of the North Point Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department where he served for nearly 70 years. He also retired from the U.S. Navy Reserves in 1982 and from Bethlehem Steel in 1984. The family will receive friends at the family owned and operated CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME OF DUNDALK, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Wednesday and Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial to celebrate Jim’s life will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at the St. Luke's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
