It's said that hero's get remembered and legends never die. For dad that's easy , he was our hero and a legend of his own. It's hard to write this as we want to say so many things but your story is fierce and you will live on forever . You will always be remembered as popsicle Jeff in the eyes of the little ones left behind. While we were never ready to say goodbye we now understand the lessons that you have been teaching us all along. "Do not pity the dead, pity the living but above all pity those that live without love." Dad loved hard. He loved whole heartedly and was loved by so many. He was honest and simple and gave life all that he had . We hope to make you proud. Your wisdom and legacy will carry on and we will always remember the words "you done good, kid". May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face. And may the winds of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars! We love you, dad. Go Irish!
