Joan Dawson

Joan Thelma Nonn Dawson of Dundalk, Maryland went to be with the Lord in Peace on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Nonn and Paul Nonn and grandchildren Christine Ross and Brandon Ross. She is survived by her husband Robert Dawson; sons Andrew Ross, Thomas Ross Sr., and Wayne Ross; brothers Tony Nonn and Michael Nonn; sisters Ada Nonn, Susan Nonn, and Jenny Nonn; grandmother to Thomas Ross Jr., Brian Ross, Stephanie Ross, Michael Ross, and Shannon Ross; great-grandmother to Danica Ross. She loved being in her Florida home and gardening for herself and neighbors. She enjoyed doing puzzles with her friends, knitting, and traveling on cruises to the Caribbean. She also enjoyed going to Maine, where she would also garden. The family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service to celebrate Joan's life will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Osteoporosis Foundation.
