John "Jon" Randall Armstrong Sr. (July 19, 1956 - December 29, 2023)

John "Jon" Armstrong Sr., a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished grandfather, passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 67. Jon was born in Maryland on July 19, 1956, to his mother Patricia Martin.

Jon served his country honorably as a Corporal in the United States Marines. He dedicated himself to defending and protecting the freedoms that we hold dear. Jon's service in the Marines embodied his selflessness and unwavering dedication.

Jon's greatest joy in life was his family. He shared 41 remarkable years of marriage with his beloved wife, Martha Armstrong. Theirs was a bond built on love, trust, and mutual support, a partnership that endured the trials and triumphs of life. Together, they created a legacy of love and loyalty that will forever inspire their children and grandchildren.

Jon leaves behind his son, John Armstrong Jr., and his daughter, Lauren Armstrong-Deetz. As a father, he was their guiding light, offering unwavering support, encouragement, and love. His grandsons, Kameran Armstrong, Ethan Armstrong, and Zachary Deetz, held a special place in his heart. Jon enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them, making lasting memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

Jon also leaves behind his cherished mother, Patricia Martin, as well as his two sisters and brother. Jon will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
