John Martin Butrim Sr.

On December 30, 2018, John M. Butrim Sr. passed away at his home in Cape Coral, Florida. Beloved husband of the late Doris Beatrice Butrim (nee Day); devoted father to John Martin Butrim Jr. and his wife Wanda, Barbara Anne Fleishell, Randolph William Butrim Sr. and his wife Lisa, and the late Richard Butrim; loving grandfather to John Martin Butrim III, Michelle Wooten, William Michael Fleishell, Barbara Eileen Hall, Randolph W. Butrim Jr., and the late Jennifer Lynn Fleishell; cherished great-grandfather to John Martin Butrim IV, Olivia Wooten, Juliette Fleishell, and Chloe Fleishell. John was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Agnes (nee Butremovitch) Butrim and his siblings, Helen Simpson, Charles Butrim, Joseph Butrim,  Michael Butrim and Sophia Butrim. 

John worked at Bethlehem Steel as a Millwright from age 17-62 (45 years). He loved to hunt and fish while in Baltimore, and became an avid fisherman while living in Cape Coral, Florida for 30 years.

Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Sunday from 2-5 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart of Mary Church on Monday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery.
