In Loving Memory of John W. Glenn Jr.

John W. Glenn Jr., a devoted husband, caring father, and a beloved member of the Dundalk community, peacefully passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 82. John's resilient spirit and warm heart touched the lives of all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Born on February 21, 1941, in MD, John's legacy was built upon his unwavering love and dedication to his family. As a loving husband to his cherished wife, Linda Glenn, and a devoted father to his children, Bryan Glenn, Michelle Eaton and her husband David, Tracey Glenn, and the late John Glenn III. John exemplified the true meaning of family love and support.

John lived a life of purpose and worked tirelessly as a Brakeman-Conductor for the Patapsco/Back River Railroad in Sparrows Point, MD. His commitment, work ethic, and genuine care for others earned him the respect and admiration of all his colleagues.

Outside of his professional endeavors, John had a fun-loving spirit and enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for karaoke, where his melodious voice would light up any room. He found solace in nature and cherished his camping adventures, creating lasting memories with his loved ones.

John was a beloved grandfather to Candice Alt, John Alt, and Joshua Alt, as well as a great-grandfather to Isabella Summers and Benjamen Summers. His loving and caring nature extended beyond his immediate family and he shared special bonds with his sisters, Phyllis McDonald and Donna Johnson.

To honor John's life and legacy, a Funeral Service will be held on November 13, 2023, at 12:00 pm at the Connelly Funeral Home in Dundalk, MD. Prior to the service, a Public Viewing will take place at 10:00 am, allowing friends and family to pay their respects and share their fondest memories of John.

Following the services, John will be laid to rest at the Oak Lawn Cemetery located at 7225 Eastern Ave.

Though John's physical presence may be missed, his warm smile, kind heart, and joyful spirit will forever be remembered by all who had the honor of sharing in his life's journey. He leaves behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

May we find solace in the precious memories we shared with John, and may his soul rest in eternal peace.
