John "Jack" Goodman

          On April 1, 2018 John William “Jack” Goodman, loving husband of Sheri Goodman (neeThompson), father of Jason Goodman, Norman Goodman and father in law of Crystal Carey and Barbara Abel, “2” Pop of Justin, Kyle and the late Carter Jack Goodman, brother of Jerry Goodman.          Jack graduated at the age of 16 from Patterson High School, as a member of the Class of 1962. He made his life's work at Bethlehem Steel in Sparrow's Point, working there from 1963 until his retirement in 2009. He also served 6 years in the United States Army Reserves. He married Sheri on May 7 1966, and next month would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary together. He spent the next half century raising his 2 sons, being an outstanding baseball coach, serving on the Edgewood Recreation Council, serving for 12 years as the President of his condo association, and enjoying his family. He was especially happy and proud to be a grandfather to Justin, Kyle, and Carter. In his last years, he enjoyed cruises with Sheri, and fantasy football with the rest of the family. And we will miss him greatly....           A Memorial Service to celebrate Mr. Goodman’s life will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church 224 North Main Street Bel Air, Maryland 21014.
